Tangy Chicken Delight in Coconut Milk

Ingredients
  1. 500 g - boneless thigh 
  2. Onion, big, chopped - 1 
  3. Green chilli chopped - 4 
  4. Ginger, minced - 1/2 inch piece
  5. Tomato, chopped - 1 medium
  6. Coconut milk - 1/2 cup or 2 tbsp - coconut powder
  7. Pepper - 1 tbsp
  8. Fennel seed - 1/2 tsp
  9. Cinnamon - 1/2 piece
  10. Oil - 1 tbsp
  11. Curry leaves - a few
Preparation 
  1. Dry fry pepper, fennel seed, cinnamon and powder and keep it aside. Heat the oil in a kadai add onion, green chillies and ginger and fry till transparent. Add tomato and fry for 5 mins.  
  2. Now add the chicken pieces and fry for 10 mins. Add 1 cup water, salt and cook till the chicken is done. 
  3.  Add the coconut milk, powder masala and curry leaves. Cook for 5 more mins and remove. 
  4. Tastes good with dosa, idli and appam.
